A rather ethereal travel writer.
Nomads delivers good stories, and Mr. Sattin makes a fair case for the outsiders, the unsettled, but his wandering folk are a very mixed bag.
A kind of rhapsody on how this aspect of human nature has contributed as much, if not more, to civilization, than the tillers of the soil.
